Our Story & Who We Are
Hi There!
My name is Thomas Guterl, I've been in the industry for over 20 years, and have loved everything with a motor since I was a child. My passion was heavily encouraged by my mother's side of the family, which allowed me to spend a lot of my time on anything from tractors, four-wheelers, go-karts, and eventually cars.
In 2005, I began my education in high school and grew my skills in the industry, working with a variety of dealers, franchises, and privately owned shops. Over those years, I felt my passion start to waver. I became frustrated with what the automotive world had become and even more discouraged, witnessing customers being taken advantage of, dismissed, and even deliberately lied to for the sake of a sale. Like many of my customers, I value the simplicity of walking in for what you want and walking out informed of what you need with zero scare tactics or pressure for monetary gain.
After a lot of burnout and frustration, the opportunity presented itself for me to finally take control and take the risk of getting in the driver's seat of my own business. A business that starts with a passion for my craft, is formed with respect and care for my customers, and functions with honesty, integrity, and skill.
Now, with the overwhelming support of my wife, family, and friends, I am proud to introduce FORM & FUNCTION GARAGE.
